Bisse of Vex - with gondolla

Become a witness of valaisan history : discover the Bisse of Vex !

The bisse de Vex has been an integral part of our heritage since... 1453 ! Abandoned in the second half of the 20th century, it was refurbished and re-filled with water in 1989 to the joy of all hikers. Extremely well maintained and closely observed during the summer months, this walk attracts a great number of visitors.

This variation of " Bisse de Vex 1" is quite longer as the walking path starts in Thyon 2000 or Les Collons and joins the Bisse in Les Mayens - de - Sion.

The path between the Mayens de Sion and Veysonnaz is particularly wide and is especially enjoyable for families with (all terrain) pushchairs. The first part of has been evened out in order to allow disabled people to easily enjoy half of the way with their wheelchair. If accompanied the second half is also possible even though it is a little more challenging.
Once in Veysonnaz, no need to walk the same way back! Hop in the gondola and enjoy the lift back to Thyon 2000

From Thyon 2000 or Les Collons, walk down (or take public transportation) to Les Mayens - de - Sion. Walk along the bisse until Veysonnaz (45min - 1hr). Take the Gondolla back to Thyon 2000.
