Today, the ‘Maison de la culture’ in Nendaz is very pleased to be able to re-open its doors, while respecting all the hygiene precautions required by the situation. Because of the pandemy there will be no official opening, but exhibitions are still being proposed to the public.
So, with the delay of few weeks, you can discover, from the 15th to the 31st of May, the works of these three sculptors from the Valais who use different techniques (Raku, clay and bronze).
Then this summer, it is the turn of three artists from Briançon (France) to present their exhibition "La montagne pleure ses glaciers" (the mountains weep their glaciers) and their works inspired by Alpine landscapes. Photographs, paintings and watercolours by Dora Fraissinet, Annie and Jean-François Béné plunge us into the transformation the mountains are undergoing due to global warming.
