Looking for virgin space for thrills? You are in the right place in the 4 Vallées. Off-piste fanatics, set off and ski or snowboard on the area’s finest freeride trails.
Get even stronger emotions on ungroomed but secured slopes, such as the Gentianes or the Plan du Fou. Experienced freeriders, your kicks will be multiplied on the Backside of Mont Fort, the Mont Gelé, Leyteygeon, Vallon d’Arby, as well as Bec des Rosses.

There are many spots, but they can be dangerous for those who don’t know the area thoroughly. For your own safety, choose the slope wisely. Check out the weather forecast and the degree of avalanche danger, making sure that you have the recommended material (DVA, spade, probe).

Education and prevention, our mission
The freeride attitude is quite an art. Learn how to use an avalanche victim detector in Verbier’s DVA Park. Equipped with a unit, available at the La Chaux till, you can practice in a real-life simulation. Professional guides are at hand on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
